Stump Pat: Episode 7

In the CARCHEX series finale of “Stump Pat” we meet a Baltimore local named Libby. A friend of Libby’s recently told her that she can get more fuel for her money if she fills her gas tank up when the air temperature is cooler. The reason being that cold gas is denser than warm gas. Curious as to whether she should take the advice of her friend, Libby turns to “America’s Trusted Mechanic” Pat Goss for answers.

Since Goss is the expert when it comes to automotive safety, performance, and care, of course he is able to provide Libby with advice she can trust!

Passing the driving test for the first time and getting a new car is an exciting and thrilling occasion in a teenager’s life. Most of us can remember the freeing feeling we felt when we could finally drive ourselves wherever we wanted. In our 6^th episode of “Stump Pat” we meet the youngest of our video participants and newest driver, Diamond Melrose.

After recently getting her drivers license and first car, Diamond wants to do anything she can to keep her vehicle running for as long as possible. Diamond turns to the “Master Technician” Pat Goss for advice.

New Series to Showcase the Wisdom of “America’s Trusted Mechanic" Pat Goss

Pat Goss’ lifelong devotion to helping consumers understand car problems has earned him the title “America’s Trusted Mechanic” and “Master Technician” on the television program MotorWeek. Since Goss is an expert when it comes to automotive safety, performance, and care, we here at CARCHEX decided to put him to the test. Fasten your seat belts, and get ready because we are bringing you with us for the ride!

Each Friday for the next 8 weeks we will reveal the REAL automotive questions and concerns racking America’s brains. Then, we will solicit answers and advice from Pat Goss to showcase Pat’s expertise.

Premiering for you now, is the first episode of our original video series “Stump Pat”.

In Episode 1 of “Stump Pat”, our host, Julia makes a visit to Baltimore Maryland’s Inner Harbor where she finds a Maryland resident named James Peters. James has heard a rumor that driving in cruise control saves gas. Gas saved is money saved, and so James wants to know if what he has heard is just a myth or hard fact. Will Pat Goss have an answer for James or will the truth remain a mystery? Watch here to find out!
