A Happy Wife = A Happy Life

Find Out Why Thomas From North Carolina Is Glad He Purchased An Extended Auto Warranty From CARCHEX!

While shopping for a SUV for his wife, Thomas Gulisano from North Carolina came across a previously owned BMW X5 that was for sale. He was very pleased with his find because the vehicle was in his price range, in excellent condition, and seemed to be the perfect fit for his wife. To Thomas’s dismay however, the manufacturer’s warranty for the vehicle had expired. This made Thomas hesitant to purchase the vehicle for his wife.

An extended auto warranty from CARCHEX put Thomas’ concerns about the vehicle’s costly repairs to rest, and made it possible for him to purchase the car for his wife. Now, Thomas’s wife enjoys the pleasures of BMW luxury driving and Thomas rests assured that she is happy and protected.

Well my wife needed a new car. We found this great SUV at a terrific price in great condition, but with only one problem: the manufacturer’s warranty had expired.

Get Protected. Like Thomas. With CARCHEX!

So I checked out extended warranties and found that CARCHEX to me was the best value and the most reliable of all the companies. And I’m glad I did.

Only a few months ago we put in a new alternator and CARCHEX paid 65% of the total amount. And you know, down here in the south they say, “When Mama is not happy no one is happy. ” But when CARCHEX came through she was very happy and that makes me happy.

Thanks CARCHEX

Everything You Need To Know About Car Warranties

Researching car warranty information is the first step anyone interested in a car warranty should take.  A properly informed customer finds the perfect warranty for them at the right time.  Two terms everyone should know are wear and tear and seals and gaskets.  These two terms are the cause of most the repairs your car will need over time.  Wear and tear covers parts which eventually wear out over time.  Without this coverage, you must wait until a part actually breaks, causing much more damage, before having your car repaired.  With wear and tear, early signs of stress or damage are eligible to be repaired immediately.

Seals and gaskets protect the fluids in your car.  Most of the highest repair costs are due to failed seals and gaskets.  Should a seal or gasket fail and fluids are leaking from your vehicle, you are covered.  With repairs often costing in the thousands, any good warranty must have this coverage.

Car Warranty Information – Exclusionary or Inclusionary?

Two other important car warranty information terms you should know are exclusionary and inclusionary.  The best car warranty is exclusionary.  These are often called bumper to bumper.  Any parts not specifically listed are covered.  Inclusionary policies are cheaper, but only cover components that are specifically listed in your warranty contract.  These policies should be read carefully to ensure all important components are covered.

My favorite Dale story, I don’t know. I think my favorite one so far is probably the all-star race. My little boy decided to come sit in the pit box tomorrow. He had never done it before and I thought the open was the best way to show down. It’s a short race, there’s not a lot of pit strategy, you either have it or you don’t. So he sat up there the beginning of the race and I was giving him a line check, said ‘hey buddy can you hear me?’ And he’s like ‘Oh, I hear ya on the radio.’ Dale yells, ‘what was that?’ I said, ‘my little boy is on the radio so be careful what you say.’ He cussed one time during the race but at the caution he apologized. He said he just let one slip. He apologized later to my wife, ‘Trish I’m sorry I really didn’t mean to cuss.’ She assured him it was in the heat of the battle. It shows how he’s a great guy. Great-hearted guy, great race car driver and is fun to be around him.

A Fuel Efficient Car Will Save Gas, But Will It Save You Money?

Pat Goss Provides Words of Wisdom For Those Who Yearn to Burn Less Gas

While driving down the road, or when stopped at an intersection or traffic light, many of us can’t help but cringe when we see a gas price sign on a near by corner. Long gone are the days when $20 got us full tanks of gas. Now, it seems as though we pay more to feed our cars than we do to feed ourselves!

If trading in your “money-eater” for a more fuel-efficient car, as a means of reducing expenses is a thought that has crossed your mind, then you will want to watch this week’s Pat Goss’ Car Buying Tips video. Although you may be driving a vehicle with the nickname “Gas Guzzler,” Goss warns, “Don’t trade just to get better fuel economy.” In the long run, the expense of trading in your car may not be justified.

Buying a Fuel Efficient Car

Gas prices are sky high. Lets face it. Everybody wants to have a car that gets better fuel economy. Well there is nothing wrong that, but keep in mind that if you have a perfectly good car that uses a bit of extra gas, but its not time to get rid of it, the chances of you trading and getting into a fuel efficient car and ever coming out ahead financially is zero. It isn’t going to happen. See, the reason is if your car uses extra fuel you are not going to get anything on trade. That’s number one.

Number two. You pay this extra money to get the newer, more fuel efficient car and it takes years and hundred of thousands of miles in the fuel savings in order to justify the expense. Most cars don’t last long enough for that to happen.
So if you are looking for a car, you need a new car, by all means look for a fuel efficient one. But don’t trade just to get better fuel economy.

Why CARFAX Is A Must When Buying A Used Car

As we “steer” towards America’s national holiday, The 4th of July, who’s better to give us car tips than America’s Trusted Mechanic Pat Goss?

In this week’s video, Pat Goss tells us about the benefits of using CARFAX, a provider of vehicle history information, when buying a used car.

We all know that flooding disasters, which are caused by rain, thunderstorms, and hurricanes have damaging effects on vehicles. “Flood cars” are vehicles that have become significantly damaged by floodwaters. They are hazardous to drive and should be destroyed. Too often, unfortunately, this does not occur and these water-damaged cars are rebuilt and put back on the road.

Pat Goss recommends using CARFAX before purchasing a used car because it is a valuable means of detecting and avoiding flood-damaged cars, and finding out other information about a used car, which could affect your purchasing decision. To hear more from Pat Goss about why he trusts CARFAX watch this week’s video!

Once you’ve done your research and selected a pristine used car, make sure to keep it in great condition by protecting it with an extended car warranty from CARCHEX.

I would consider the CARFAX vehicle history report as a mandatory part of buying a car. Now, the reason for this, and there are a lot of them, but one of the more common ones, we have had some horrific weather patterns throughout the U.S. over the past few years and that means there are hundred of thousands of damaged vehicles that are in circulation.

Now, certainly some of them get totaled and that’s the end of it, but others, people figure ways to get around the insurance companies and they rebuild these things and put them back on the road. The worst offenders are flood cars and the flood cars are just an ongoing problem throughout the life of the vehicle.

So CARFAX vehicle history report is going to give you a good tool to tell you if there is any thing that really needs to be taken into consideration: Has the car been totaled? Has the odometer been messed with? Anything at all that might be detrimental or positive, because lots of times you will find very positive things that would make the car more desirable.
